      We had a chance in July 2014 to stay at the Protea Hotel by means of a voucher that my girlfriend won at her place of employment. The stay at the hotel was a very memorable one with great service, friendly staff and a wonderful atmosphere. You actually feel as though you are no longer in Kimberley, but then you get reminded of our great city by means of the history and photos hanging on the walls. Very homely and highly recommended for a break away.
