Felidae Centre is located in the well-known Free State province, which borders on the Northern Cape. The predator farm is situated only 30 km from the historical town of Kimberley, on the National Road, the N8.

    Why you should visit us:

How are we different to other PREDATOR parks? We put the needs of our animals first and ensure that they are stressed as little as possible. We endeavour to promote the welfare and survival of these animals while encouraging the education of the public.

We want visitors to experience the feeling of the awesomeness of these animals, but we also want to make sure that they learn something along the way.

We have a relationship with each of our animals and we try to keep them in the most natural environment possible.

As a visitor, you will have the opportunity to meet some of our ‘ambassador’ cats and see, feel and hear them up close. You will also be able to view the lions feeding and tour the enclosures. Make sure you don’t miss out on the chance to feed the bat-eared foxes!!

The purpose of the Felidae Centre is to breed with the endangered cheetah, in order to ensure pure and healthy genes as well as the survival of the cheetah. Furthermore, by doing tours and school outings, we want to change people’s mind sets about our cats and encourage both the protection and survival of the various species. Our project started with a cheetah and a caracal, and has since expanded to lions, black-backed Jackal and bat-eared foxes.

If you want to see the King of the African bush (Lion) and his lionesses feeding on a carcass, or swimming in their pool, while the sun is baking down, or to hear the purr of the magnificent, endangered cheetah while sitting next to her and scratching her behind the ears, then Felidae Centre is the place to be!!

Get away from the stress of the city and have a relaxed day out in the South Africa sun, while enjoying the beauty of mother nature.

Come and enjoy a day in the presence of these magnificent animals, you are guaranteed to learn something new and have fun. Make sure that you bring your camera to capture the awesome experience.

We are also a registered NPC company (a non-profit company).
