Die badkamers is skoon en netjies. Vriendelike diens en eienaar kom kyk of alles reg is. Lekker vis gevang. Ons kan regtig die plek aanbeveel.

Warning please be advised the owners dog (black and white sheepdog)bite my small boy in the face luckly it was just a minor bite on his lip, but it could have been worst.Thank you Jesus for his angels they protected my sun.This is just to inform people to be aware of the dog.God Bless!!!Its still a beautiful place.
wie dit ook mag aangaan; iets heeltemal ander sien julle kamp plek in die”‘ weg tydskrif” en baie beidruk met dit en kan nie glo dat julle so n mooi kampplek daar op ritchie het nie,
ek het daar groot geword en op ritchie begin skool gaan en daar ook n wonderlike plaas lewe gehad todat ons (my ouers en ek dit moes veruil vir die stads lewe) my pa is daar oorlewe en ook daar begrawe en het vir baie jare die begravplaas probeer onderhou maar het vir die laaste paar jaar kontak verloor met iemand daarwas wat my gehelp het met dit (n kontak persoon wat ek nie die van meer kan onthou nie)
is daar dalk n moontlikheid dat jy my kan help om iemand op te spoor om hierdie begraafplaas skoon te kry ( my kinders fotos gestuur en baie upset oor hoe dit lyk) baie dankie.
My wife and I have been customers of Riverside for years now, the lady, Lucy is nice, replies to her mails in reasonable time and answers her phone. Fishing is good, lawn is well maintained and lovely dogs. BUT after being treated like a third class citizen by her husband I have decided to never return again, I will also never recommend this place again or invite our friends to camp with us over a weekend. Long story short he is the most arrogant and obnoxious human being I have come across who seems to forget that the people he treats like crap are the ones who put food on his table. He gives a new meaning to rude and unacceptable customer service. Oh and BTW, my wife cut her foot on this piece of wire found in the swimming pool which was too murky to see the bottom. But I guess it was her fault for stepping on it, or at least this is how he would argue the situation. So remember, if you ever camp at Riverside just know that he is doing you a favour by letting you stay there, don’t expect less than bad service if he is concerned.

We only stayed one night, but we really liked that place. Very friendly people, clean, peaceful and a lot of well behaved dogs around to play with… Nice river, enough shade and gras. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Unfortunately our experience was not as good. It is however a lovely place. The owners must just think twice how they handle a situation with clients that travelled very far. Shouting and screaming at the children and the parents is not a way to treat clients. It could have been handled very differently. My child also cut her foot on a piece of glass in the swimming pool, nothing was made of that. Also the water that is being drained next to the camping area where we camped smelled like sewerage water and there were flies all over. There were no water in the showers as well the one morning although we could flush the toilets and use basins. The last day the water we showered in also smelled bad. I can definitely say this is not a four star resort as they are advertised.
