Bop and weave with Sound Register on Valentine’s Day

After their spectacular return to Flamingo Casino’s Bar 129 in January for their first show after a long absence, Sound Register is back for an encore on Saturday, 14 February 2015.

With new faces and a fresh sound, the band will have the crowd bopping- and weaving with their upbeat music style. Their music has a unique flavour thanks to their very uncommon instrument combination: The Jazz trumpet and the Caribbean Steel Pan. Due to the full hand percussion section, their music has a prominent Afro-Cuban feel. They keep their sound fresh by incorporating guest musicians at their gigs. This is also their way of giving back to the community; by exposing musicians that are not linked or affiliated to established bands.

Sound Register recently came together after ten years of performing with different bands. Although the members are relatively young, they have a combined music experience of more than sixty four years. Flamingo Casino welcomes Sound Register back to its stage. The show is at 21h00 and there is no cover charge.
