The HYRAX Night Race will start at the Rooifontein Eco Center. The safety and well being of all participants are of paramount importance to the organizers, and all possible measures have been undertaken to ensure this.The HYRAX MTB Night Race is a family-oriented event and provides an outdoor experience to both the race-fit, and those who prefer to just kick back and enjoy the event.The route traverse through the Rooifontein nature reserve.
 
The sheer endlessness of the expanse of the Northern Cape night sky will take your breath away – but fear not, you will be inhaling the purest oxygen that our country has to offer. Visitors and participants are invited to bring along your own meat and something refreshing to drink after the race at Rooifontein. Come and breathe the unpolluted air, rub shoulders around the fires of a braai.
