    Historical Society of Kimberley and the Northern Cape presents:
    Annual General Meeting & Richard Liversidge Memorial Lecture
     
    Sunday, 8 November, at 3 pm at St Cyprian’s Cathedral.
     
    The topic of the lecture will be:
     
    “A Musical romance on the Diamond Fields:
    The story of Margie Hull and the Viennese Bandsman Ferdinand Bilek”.
     
    Dr David Morris presents the lecture & Matthew van Wyk performs piano pieces composed by Bilek, and other music from Kimberley in 1892.
     
    Refreshments will be served.
