Galeshewe Chess Festival Open Chess Tournament
The Galeshewe Chess Festival will be held at the Mayibuye Centre, Galeshewe on the 31 October 2015 and will be divided into two events:
Open Section for Adults (Hosted by Teemaneng & KCC) and
School’s Individual for the Scholars (Hosted by School’s Chess).
Entry of R80 to be paid at the venue.
Entry is FREE to all Scholars.
NB: Entries close Thursday 29 October 2015 at 22:00.
Open Section for Adults
Rules:- Fide rules apply.
- Time Control will be 60/60.
- The organisers reserve the right to change the number of rounds, playing schedule or merged the sections.
- Prize Money Dependant on entries.
- R1000 Guaranteed only to A-Section Winner.

Scholars should enter in the School’s Individual Tournament.

7:00 – 7:45 Confirmation of Participation
8:00 – 8:10 Final Draws
Round 1 starts at 08h15
Round 2 – 15 minutes after round 1
Round 3 – 15 minutes after round 2
Round 4 – 15 minutes after round 3
Round 5 – 15 minutes after round 4
Prizegiving:
It will commence after the completion of the last round.
Medals & Prize Money will be awarded to the winners.
