Extreme Ride for Hunger Tour 2016

 
The Meals on Wheels Northern Cape Extreme Ride for Hunger Tour 2016 is a cycling tour, from Kimberley to Tygerberg in Cape Town, aimed at creating awareness and raising funds to help feed the needy, elderly, children and underprivileged people in the Northern Cape community.
 
The Tour will be a five day event starting in Kimberley, on Sunday 28th of February 2016 at 6:00am and ending on Thursday the 3rd of March 2016 at 9:00am in Tygerberg, Cape Town.
 
An estimated 20 cyclists are expected to participate in the Tour which will be a total distance of 1086km, passing through Hopetown, Strydenburg, Britstown, Victoria West, Three Sisters, Beaufort West, Klaarstroom, Se Rust, Oudtshoorn, Calitzdorp, Ladysmith, Barrydale, Swellendam, Hermanus, Somerset West and then Tygerberg our final destination.

Kimberley to Britstown – Cycling 254.5km

END: Britstown Transkaroo Country Lodge
 
Day 2:
Bristown to Three Sisters – Cycling 171km
DATE: 29 February 2016
START: Britstown
END: Three Sisters from here we will be traveling with the bus to Beaufort West Wagon Wheel Country Lodge
 
Day 3:
Beaufort West to Oudtshoorn – Cycling 182km
DATE: 1 March 2016

Day 4:
Oudtshoorn to Swellendam – Cycling 221.7km
DATE: 2 March 2016
START: Oudtshoorn
END: Hermanus Whale Coast Lodge
 
Day 5:
Hermanus to Somerset West Driving in Bus 75km
Somerset West to Tygerberg – Cycling 40km
