The BLOODHOUND modular car on public show in Kimberley.
The Bloodhound education team will be taking the full size modular car to the Diamond Pavilion Mall over the weekend of Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August as part of the national Science Week programme. Shoppers and visitors will be able to see up close the 13.5 metre car and where all the major components, including the jet, rocket and Jaguar engines are located. You will also see the design artwork of one of driver Andy Green’s helmets produced by a Kimberley learner and one of the 95kg aluminium test wheels.
Helping to tell the exciting Bloodhound story to local Kimberley people will be Maths & Science Leadership Academy (MSLA) learners who will be acting as Ambassadors over the weekend and answering all those difficult questions.
