    Battle of Modder River – Guided Tour

    Cost: R50 per person (children under 12 free)
     
    On Saturday morning 12 December 2015 there shall be a guided historical tour of the battlefield of Modder River. If anyone wishes to attend it costs R50 per person and all are to meet at the Crown and Royal Hotel, Modder River by 08h15. You do need to get there with your own transport. Places visited include the Guards Memorial, KOYLI Memorial, Blockhouse, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Memorial, the Weir, two Cemeteries and the Crown and Royal. There shall be many words spoken. Tour should finish by approximately 12h00. Proceeds to charity. (Children under 12 years of age are free). If you are joining in please remember a HAT as well as WATER to drink, it could be hot.
