MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE Standard Bank SPU Chancellor’s Golf Day

This October, SPU is proud to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Solomon Tshekisho Plaatje and under the leadership of our new Chancellor, Mr. Thebe Ikalafeng, we are hitting the greens on Saturday, 10 October 2026 to raise funds for the Chancellor’s Bursary Fund in aid of supporting academically talented learners from the Northern Cape through the Talent Pipeline Programme that seeks to advance learners’ academic, social and psychosocial preparation into higher education.

We are calling on all corporate partners and community leaders to join us where every swing, drive, and putt supports the Chancellor’s Bursary Fund, ensuring that we ‘Change Lives and Enable Brighter Futures’.

To support this initiative and to get involved, contact Ms. Dinette van der Spuy at dinette.vanderspuy@spu.ac.za (053 491 0117) or Ms Feroza Nooroodien at feroza.nooroodien@spu.ac.za (053 491 0217).
