    In celebration of Human Rights Day taking place on 21 March 2021, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is implementing a celebratory blood drive on Monday 22 March 2021 to recruit new donors and ensure there is sufficient stock of safe blood available in South Africa for the patients in need.
     
    SANBS has started to see a decline in their blood stocks and is therefore appealing to all stakeholders to celebrate life on Monday 22 March 2021 by partnering with your local blood donor centre and giving back to the community during these trying times.
    Stringent protocols are in place to ensure the safety of our blood donors, staff and the public.
