Who will take the title at the karaoke finals?
 
Over the past year, aspiring singers have taken their singing from the shower to the stage at Flamingo’s weekly karaoke nights on Thursdays at Bar 129. On 16 November 2017, the cream of the crop will sing it out for the last time to find out who takes the title of Karaoke King or Queen for 2017. The finale event kicks off at 21h00 and the community is called to come down to support the singers as they take their turn to shine on stage. Entrance is R20 per person.
 
The weekly Karaoke Nights are hosted by DJ Bizzy B who needs little introduction to local house music fans. In 2008 he was rated Kimberley’s No.1 when he won the Battle of the DJ’s Competition hosted by Monster Mob (Mobster Festival) which was judged by DJ Ready D and Mr.Cee (BlackWhole Entertainment). This title is still standing.
Since then, he has been featured in line ups with huge names such as DJs Euphonik, Fresh, Ready D, Kent, Christos, Claude, Diamond Dealer, Mr.Cee, Black Coffee, Culoe de Song, and Sbu. In 2009 he was crowned with the title “The Mix Machine” as his talent keeps progressing, with his own special style.
