Top SA DJ Ready D hits the decks at Flamingo
South Africa’s grand mix master, DJ Ready D, hits the decks at Flamingo’s Bar 129 for a foot stomping party in celebration of Youth Day on 16 June 2017. Without a doubt one of South Africa’s top DJs, Ready D has promised a thumping set for his local fans.
 
DJ Ready D, also widely recognised as the DJ for Prophets of the City, has won numerous awards during his career. He has won the SA DMC Championship four times, the Western Cape Regional Champs, and received the DJ of the Decade award. As the DJ for Prophets of the City, he has toured Europe extensively for a period of 12 years, performing alongside groups like Public Enemy, Fugees, Ice T, Spearhead, James Brown, Rob Swift, Steve D, Will Smith, Black Eyed Peas, DJ Spinna, Jazzy Jeff, Slipnot, Cypress Hill, Eve, Akon and Grand Master Flash.
 
When he is not at the decks, he is producing music for various artist and TV shows. His performance at Flamingo is a rare treat for Kimberley club goers. Warming up the decks is DJ Bizzy B, no stranger to Bar 129 and make sure the party starts off the right way. The show starts at 21h00 and entrance costs R60 per person.
