      We stayed here for two nights, rooms on either side of us partied all night, noisy and loud music. Not adhering to lock down regulations at all, even though site says that the lodge has strict regulations, this is not true, will not recommend.

      Dirty linen -staff forgetting to buy electricity – broken aircon – rooms look nothing like the photo’s. The room next to ours was sold 3 times in 1 day, people moving in, then realizing how crap the establishment is and then moving out(with no refunds). We couldn’t find alternative accommodation because of the chess tournament, so we had to suffer there for 3 days,thankfully a Real Lodge phoned with a cancellation and we moved out with joy and relief. Now I know why there is a no refund policy, even though the room was sold straight away,the owners are CROOKS.How can they not refund when the aircon packs up and the temp is in the late 30’s.
      Strange that the only person who gave a good review has the same surname as the owner.

      We spend one night in this so called lodge, bathroom not clean, stains on bedding, coffee cup still had used teabag in. I will not even give this place one star. Photo’s on websites are misleading.
