Vodacom Meerkat Marathon @ Windhoek Draught Park

The Vodacom Meerkat Marathon originated in 2015. The race has been held every year, only taking a break during the 2021 lockdown. Initially the purpose of the race was to raise funds for charity, but the race helps to keep the Kimberley Road Runners club up and running. The event is the largest and most attended road running event in the Northern Cape.
 
The Vodacom Meerkat marathon is a qualifier for the Comrades and Two Oceans Ultra Marathons.
 
A huge thanks to Mr. Sean Ralph and his wife Mrs. Johnene Ralph for their support as main sponsor during all these years.
 
This year we are looking to grow the numbers even more. We will again host the 42.2km, 21.1km, and 10km. The 10km race will be the AGW 10km Championships. We will also have a 4.9km fun run, making the Vodacom Meerkat Marathon a race for everyone!
 
We invite all athletes to come and enjoy the race and experience Kimberley Road Runners' hospitality!
