    Venue: Kimberley Golf Club

Sanlam and CANSA have partnered the Sanlam Cancer Challenge for 27 years. The purpose of the challenge is to raise funds and awareness annually for the fight against cancer. Over 35 000 golfers played in more than 640 club competitions held around the country during 2018 in support of CANSA’s prevention programs and patient care services throughout the year.

The Sanlam Cancer Challenge is run as a collaborative partnership between CANSA, Sanlam, SAGA & WGSA Unions.
As the biggest amateur golf tournament in Africa this tournament proudly boasts more participants than the Comrades Marathon and the Argus Cycle Tour and attracts more than 35 000 players per annum. The initiative is one of our strongest resource mobilisation vehicles and it is therefore crucial that the challenge is met with careful planning, enthusiasm and fresh effort each year.

We are currently busy organising the Sanlam Cancer Kimberley Golf Club day on the 01st June 2019. Thanks to amazing sponsors we managed to double our income in 2018 from 2017 and this is due to enormous support from local sponsors.
This year we would like to aim to double our income again from the previous year.

You can get involved in the following ways.
    • Join us for the day for a round of golf at R290 per player
    • You can sponsor a hole at the golf day for R500 (great marketing opportunity)
    • Sponsor something branded for our goody bags for the players
    • Sponsor a prize
    • Give a small donation towards the day

Thank you once more for your generous support. Your support is not something we take lightly and is very much appreciated by everyone connected with CANSA Kimberley.
