The 2020 MATSA 100miler will start at Kalahari Lodge Kimberley and finishes at Bain’s Lodge Bloemfontein. The safety and well-being of all participants are of paramount importance to the organizers, and all possible measures have been undertaken to ensure this. This Race is open to solo participants, The route traverse through the rugged topography of Central South Africa. The route will include gravel and farm roads. This Challenge will provide a platform where pro riders can challenge one another, while still catering for the masses who are enthusiastic, hobbyist riders. The main aim is to raise funds for Alzheimers South Africa.
FULL : 160km – R400-00 per rider
The entry fee includes all nutrition and food at well serviced water points, hamburger, beverage and a finisher medal on raceday.
There will be a total of 7 water stations placed at strategic points along the routes on the day. EMS will be present at and during the event. This event will be limited to 150 riders only.
Safety and route briefings will be held before the start of the race.
Entries are open and will close on 1 October 2020. Online entries can be done at www.oryxendurance.co.za. Late entries will not be allowed. NO ENTRIES ON RACE DAY will be allowed.
Registrations and race number collections for this event will be done on 2 October 2020 from 16:00 till 20:00 at Kalahari Lodge Kimberley.
Categories which will be competed in will be, 160km Open Male, 160km Open Female. E Bikes and Gravel Bike will be allowed, but not in contention for podium positions in the different categories. Open relay.
