Wietz is a single man vocal artist, who lights up any event with his most versatile voice and spontaneous stage personality.

Wietz writes his own songs, but on this stage he do mostly cover songs.
He’s genre goes from Country which is his favourite, through to 60’s – 80’s, Afrikaans and Golden Oldies.

    Performances of Wietz:
    Pubs all over Free State
    Waterfees
    Mardi Grass Fees (Ladybrand)
    GWK Expo
Mensnights (included in Fouriesburg with Os du Randt)
    Weddings
    Bloemskou
    Cansa
Mimosa Mall Bloemfontein – Christmas Carols

Wietz was born in Bloemfontein, but was raised in Parys Free State and matriculated in Parys hoërskool in 1998. He was a member of the “Take Note“ sound group where he earned his honour clothing and was invited to the Free Sate Youth Choir, but on that moment he also got his Honour Clothing in Rugby and on that stage of his life he chose rugby, like any other boy his age would have done.

He was raised in a musical family and in 2005 he started very small where he got his small PA system and started to sing in small pubs part time while he was working during the daytime.
In 2006 he came to Bloemfontein and started his singing career. In 2007 he was 3rd in the Free State with Supersterre that was hosted by Patricia Lewis.

After that he sang all the way through pubs in Bloemfontein and surrounded towns and earned a lot of people’s hearts with his singing voice.
He also did pre-shows for Jakkie Louw and also Leani May and Jay, and did some Mens evenings with Os du Randt.

The reason why this talented singer hasn’t made it already to the top is very simple.
He first wanted to go through the “Learning School” in the music industry and the only way to that is to sing in as many pubs, small venues, and weddings to get that experience and to learn how to handle different crowds, and you must struggle with your own sound, because its also important for any vocalist, or any musician to understand the sound aspect in a show, and he must know what effort is behind a show and must learn to know his own sound on any system that he performs on.
